New Book Hits 21,000 Words! W00t!

The scribble caper is coming along pretty well so far. After 17 days' concentrated banging the flippers at the keyboard, I'm now on 21,000 words. I'm aiming for the reasonable target of just 1000 words per day, so being 4 days ahead of the curve feels very good, considering all the doubts and hesitations I've had in recent months.

And now for a nifty graphical doodad I've just discovered, to illustrate how the book is going:

Zokutou word meterZokutou word meter
21,000 / 100,000
(21.0%)

As of right now, the above just looks like a great many lines of html; I'm reliably assured that it will turn into a shiny bar graph kind of thing.
